Project Info - Vol. 1
Volume 1 – Duet Expanded; This set (tracks 1 – 6) represents a compilation of compositions built upon improvisations. That’s where it begins. In this case, with George Cartwright on saxes and Brian King on drums. After the initial recording of the live performances, improvised and without edits, a new series of overdubs were created to add to the overall arrangement and design for composition.
These selections are from several sessions which appear on the following releases; Continental Drift, PLAY, and Dipole Moments.

This set (tracks 8 – 12) includes several LIVE recordings from a single session. Brian King on solo vibraphone, no edits or overdubs.
These selections are taken from 2 earlier releases, Improvisations for Vibraphone Volume 1 and Volume 2.
